*--with Mechanic Arts leading 6-5, the team refused to continue to play due to an official's ruling, which resulted in the game being forfeited to Mpls. East.
**--at the beginning of the season, under a new edict from the School Board, students had to maintain an academic standard. Days prior to the game, ten of the eleven starters for Mechanic Arts were deemed ineligible. Rather than cancel the game, the players were permitted to play with the understanding that the game would be an exhibition contest, which Central won 32-6.
***--with Central leading 6-5 late in the game, there was a dispute by both teams over whether the game should be stopped due to darkness. When Duluth scored to make the score 11-6, the game was stopped. Central disputed both the score and the fact that the game had continued. After conferring, the officials declared the game a draw.
****--game was forfeited to St. Paul Central since Mpls. Central failed to appear and refused to reschedule.
