NOTE: in order to promote more equitable competition, the double round robin was eliminated and replaced with a staggered schedule whereby some teams played each other three times while others only once or twice. A point system was devised so that the value of a game where opponents played each other only once was worth six points, playing each other twice three points, and two points if teams met three times during the course of the season. Teams are listed above by the points they accrued.
