Girls’ Soccer Notes

Parents/Players,

Here are some notes and updates:

Leading up to today, our overall team record 3-6.  We have two more games left (Battle Creek & Humboldt).  Humboldt’s game will be played at Johnson HS.  We are definitely playing much better than what our records indicate.  Thanks to those that came to volunteer at the golf fundraiser last week.  We raised over $300 dollars, enough to purchase every player their own long sleeve practice t-shirts.  Thanks to Sariah, Pahlee, Emma, Melody, Diana & Priya for coming out!

Our last fundraiser will be at Golden Harvest Market, on Maryland Ave.  We will be greeters, bag groceries and retrieve carts.  If you can volunteer next Friday, October 30th from 4:00 am-7:00 pm, please let the captains or Mr. Xiong know.  This final fundraiser will help with our awards banquet and soccer equipment.

Lastly, we are invited to play in a friendly tournament at McMurray Field in St. Paul on Sunday, November 1st from 10:00 am-12 pm.  We are officially registered for this tournament, so if players can’t play, please let me know ASAP.

Parents are always more than welcome to help.
