1st Week - Wow!!! Waiting for the snow to melt!

Dear Parents,

The first week was awesome.  Thanks for encouraging your child to learn to act responsibly by getting their paperwork and fees taken care of.  It is great that so many young women have made the choice to play softball.  This group of talented athletes worked hard all week. They are demanding excellence of themselves and asking for extra help.

Academics:  Performance in school is the priority and it needs to remain your childs number one focus throughout the entire season.   We discussed that we expect our student athlete's to avoid any academic slide down during the season.  We also touched on respect for teachers and being open to working with those teachers they may find difficult.  Bottom line for student athletes - all assigned work needs to be done and to the best of their ability.

Health:  Some of the students are not feeling well!  Parents please send a note explaining your child's absence.  We want your child to attend every practice however, we may send them home if we feel that rest is the best use of their time.

If your child has a health challenge (i.e. diabetes) or a mental health challenge... please have your daughter speak with the coach's so that we are aware and prepared.

Thanks again for an outstanding first week.
