Improvement Continues...

The second year Washington Eagles have shown great improvement as the season reaches the state series. Over the past two weeks the Eagles have defeated St. Thomas, MAD, Robbinsdale Cooper, and Burnsville. According to Coach Swensen, "we are most proud of is the way the team has learned to battle in tough matches and work as a team for success." The Eagles battled St. Paul Harding to a 33 - 33 draw giving the fans in attendance one of the most exciting wrestling meets they had ever witnessed. Many fans, teachers, and staff watched the two teams battle it out. One staff member was quoted as saying, "I have never heard the gym so loud for a sporting event!"
