Great first week of games
Saturday, September 7, 2013 -- 11:00 am

We are excited to start our 2nd year of varsity soccer here at Washington. With a new women's soccer staff and increased participation numbers we are start in a positive direction. We have a young  team this year and it will be a rebuilding year for the eagles. We have a great group of young women who are respectful, responsible and ready to learn.

We finished our 1st week of games with a big win against Johnson and a tough loss against Central. Diamond Wilburn, Senior scored the winning goal against Johnson. Say Paw and Lily Her played solid defense and kept us organized on our defensive third. Htee Hgay played a great game in the goal and communicated well with our defenders. Congratulation ladies on our first win of the season.

We played the experienced Central minute maids on Friday. Even though we lost the girls never gave up on each other and themselves.  Every game is a learn experience and we stayed positive  through out the game. Say Paw had great game with her patients and determination on defense. She kept the defense positive and organized while Central continued to counter us through out the game. We have great players and people on our Washington varsity team.

Thanks ladies for a great week! Lets rest and take of our bodies for next week.

Go Eagles!
