Tough First Loss
Monday, December 19, 2011 -- 9:15 pm

On Saturday December 17th, Washington visited Hill Murray for a contest. Hill Murray came out strong and we fell into a hole early on. The Eagles showed great intensity to start the second half and forced turnover after turnover, but were never able to get within striking distance.

From a coaching standpoint, I saw some great things my players did and I saw some areas we need to work on. It was a great learning experience.

The Eagles were led by Lerell Smart, making his debut, with 9 points. Alejandro Santiago and Robby Sanders combined for 15 points, and Mohamed Saleh chipped in 4. Elliot Suttles showed great leadership at the point guard position. On the defensive side, Demare White was outstanding forcing several steals.

The Eagles next game will be Tuesday December 20th at Como Park. Tip off is 4pm and The JV will follow.
