The Washington Eagles won their home opener on Wednesday night when they took on MSAD. The Eagles had control of the game from the tip off and never looked back. Junior Forward Robby Sanders led the way with his first double double of the season with 29 points and 11 rebounds. Tau Hyatte added 15 points, while Freshman guard Curtis Bell chipped in 10 points to go along with 6 assists. Junior Guard Elliot Suttles also took part in the dishing game, coming up with 5 assists.
The Eagles are on the road Friday to take on Community of Peace. The JV team plays at 5:30 and the Varsity will play at 7. Hope to see you there.
