On August 29 the Como Park Girls' Varsity Soccer Team notched a tie for their first competition of the season with a 1-1 Mounds Park Academy tie. Scoring for the Cougars was 9th grader Anna Erickson on a cross by 12th grader Angie Martin. Sharing in the goalkeeping responsibilities was 10th grader Alexa Walters and 9th grader Cece Wulff.
