Farnsworth Victorious Over Parkway

Parkway gave Farnsworth all that it could handle this past Thursday, October 3rd. We had some lucky breaks go our way this time as Parkway had many opportunities but were not able to capitalize on them. At the end, Farnsworth came out with a victory by the score of 2-0. Jessica scored the first goal in the first half to make it 1-0. Newcomer and 6th grader, Emma Wolters added a much needed goal in the second half to secure the win. It was her first goal of the year. Goalkeeper, Davita Lee was at the right place at the right time, stopping all the shots that came her way. This was her second shut-out of the year.

After the game, the team celebrated Gigi's birthday on the sideline. Gigi provided cookies and fruit juice for everyone!
