Dear Players/Parents:

Thank you for joining soccer this year!  My name is Eric Xiong and I am the new JHS boys’ soccer coach.  I teach at the Farnsworth PreK-4 lower campus.  This year marks a new challenge for the boys’ soccer team and I am excited to be a part of this transition.

Please look over the schedule with practices and games.  This year we’re going to practice at JHS turf field before school starts and at Phalen Rec Center while school is in session.  The players do walk a little further than normal to practice so make sure to pick them up at the right location.  Game days are usually longer than practices but you may pick your players from the field or school during game days.

The boys’ team will try to fund-raise funds to help with our team banquet and misc. things (practice jerseys, awards, etc.).  If any parent(s) want to help out, please don’t hesitate to let me know as I am in need of a few volunteers.  

Lastly, a problem that we always run into is players not getting their physicals done on time.  A player cannot practice or play in a game unless they have their physicals on file in the nurse’s office. Please have this completed before the season starts.
