On Wednesday, December 12th, the Harding Wrestling team took on East Ridge HS and Washington Tech, going 1-1 in the tri. 

Against East Ridge, Harding lost 48-27, but was in it up until the last matches. Key victories include: Joe Vue, Tou Lee, Antonio Wagener, and Todd Fairbanks, who each recorded one of their two pins on the night; and Jacob Johnson, who won a wild match 17-14. 

Against Washington, a St. Paul City Conference opponent, Harding won 54-28. Harding recorded nine pins, including: Keinnan Thacker, Marcelus Ifonlaja, Joe Vue, Tou Lee, Jacob Johnson, Antonion Wagener, Deondre Robinson, Todd Fairbanks, and Andrew Haldeman. Antonio Wagener took the fastest pin award, pinning in :30. Close behind were Jacob Johnson (:35), Joe Vue (:44), and Keinnan Thacker (:49). Washington is in its first year of varsity level wrestling. 

Up next: Harding will travel to St. Charles for a team dual tournament. St. Paul Central will also be there, but the two teams will not meet on Saturday. Next Thursday (12/20), St. Paul Central will be traveling to Harding for a dual match.
