On Friday December 9th 2011, the Washington Technology Magnet JV Boys Basketball team began the season with a 52-21 win over the International School of Minnesota Huskies.  The Eagles were led in scoring by Da'Vonte Adams who netted 17 points to go along with seven steals, six rebounds and three assists.  Also playing key roles were Lorenzo Howard (14 points and eight rebounds), Dominic Goins (10 points, two assists and two steals) and Kahnen Gbojueh (six points, 14 rebounds, six blocked shots, three assists and one steal).  The scoring was rounded out by Robbie Sanders (four points) and D.J. McGonigal (one point) while Alejandro Santiago pulled down four rebounds to go along with one assist and Tau Hyatte provided steady play and secured two boards.

The team's next contest will be Tuesday December 13th when they host Boys Totem Town.  Doors will open at 6 PM and the tip-off is scheduled for 6:30 PM.  The cost is $3 for adults and $1 for students (with ID).
